President Muhammadu Buhari, was absent at the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, holding at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, which was presided by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
No official reason was given for the President’s absence.
However, a Presidential source revealed that Buhari has been battling with health challenges, and therefore needed more rest.
“The President could not make the FEC meeting today, due to health challenges. That is why he delegated his VP, Osinbajo, to hold brief for him.
Buhari’s absence caught the Ministers to support Obasanjo to takes over presidential duties till further notice.
